Meet Dr. Jene Jordan
Dr. Jordan — “Dr. J” to all his patients — loves his job! That’s why he has been practicing orthodontics for more than 35 years. He began his practice in Boone, NC in 1975, and relocated to the High Point area in 1988. He loves working with our fun and enthusiastic team members, and especially enjoys coming to work to see his amazing patients every day!
Training and Continuing Education
Dr. J believes that “a smile changes everything,” and he loves to see the difference we make in each of our patients’ lives. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he continued on at the UNC School of Dentistry for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He then received his certificate in orthodontics from Emory University.
Over the years, Dr. J has spent hundreds of hours continuing his education through annual meetings, workshops, and courses. His years of clinical experience and his commitment to excellence enable him to treat all types of orthodontic cases, from simple crowding to the most complex surgical issues. A member of some of the nation’s most prestigious orthodontic study clubs, Dr. J is recognized as an expert in his field.

Family Life
Dr. J married his wife Carolyn in 1978. They live on a small farm in Davidson County, NC with their newly rescued “babies”: a Golden Retriever named Summer and a flat coat mix, Stella. Dr. J and Carolyn have four grown children — Chad, Ryan, Jess, and Zach — and are thoroughly enjoying being grandparents to three amazing grandchildren: Caleb, Luke, and Geneva, the “apples of their eyes.” Dr. J enjoys spending time with his “rowdy” family, woodworking, and golfing. He is also a movie buff!
